Taxpayer money is public and we have no idea how those funds are truly allocated....guess my point is, it doesn't matter if the money is public or private, if the system doesn't want you to know where or how they are using the money, you ain't gonna know....it's all about hiding things from the masses because those in charge know whats best

Probably so. Maybe not so much as fans, but simply as citizens since these are public institutions and these are employees-lite.
For the private institutions, probably not.

When we somebody fix the portal and NIL messes? Currently there are no guardrails whatsoever, and like Nick and Dabo said several years ago - it’s not sustainable.
Who is actually running the show for college football nowadays? The NCAA has apparently thrown in the towel. A new governing body is needed sooner rather than later.

However, I would rather never know.
I like to watch games and pretend that crap doesn’t exist. I can still kind of squint my eyes and pretend I’m still watching college football.

More transparency is always better. Secrecy always favors the entrenched elites. Unfortunately it will require legislation and no state will touch it for fear players will stop coming to their schools.
