So, reading all the posts about Louisville fans' reactions

to Clemson's game day atmosphere, is it safe to say we improved the conference by bringing in Louisville and losing Maryland?

I've never seen a game at Maryland but I didn't need to

to know that place was a dumpster fire. I like Louisville just because it's located in Kentucky.

I would say their fans are way better. They have legit Football and Basketball teams (at least last 4 or 5 years) and Kentucky people are better all around people than those from Maryland.

Having made the trip to Maryland...

HECK YES. Those people were mean, trashy, and foul mouthed. They haven't amounted to much, and I don't think they ever will again.

Lou is serious about football. They are dumping money in, and are going to be a good program most years. I like the addition a lot.

Yep.

I would agree. I sat near the Card fans at the game and they were good visiting fans. For the amount they had in Death Valley they were loud for their team. Not disrespectful when we did well-(No fingers like I have seen from others like the dirty turtles.) Fans were friendly even after the TIGER D. stuffed their final drive at the door and many would be bitter, they seemed to be happy with a well fought game. As stated by others The Cards have stronger programs...

I will hold final judgment and see what they are like as host, but like what I have seen so far.

It was like trading away a horrible brother-in-law whom nobody ever liked or respected. You know the type - never could hold down a job, lives in an old school bus in a bad trailer park but calls it a "mobile home" in a vacation resort, abuses his wife and kids, thinks he knows everything but knows nothing, and never contributes a dime but is free with advise on how everything should be done. Does that about cover Maryland?

Actually you were too kind about Maryland. We made the trip and they even broke the flags on our car,. Saw them spit at a family and foulmouthed doesn't touch it. I was working on a project in Md at the time and their Chancellor was on TV the following Monday apologizing about their fans. He promised to address the situation. Don't think that EVER happened as my son and grandson went last year and were appalled.

I talked to several at the Esso after the game, and they universally even after a game they probably should have won states how much they appreciate being in the ACC.

We went to the game in Maryland in '06 (I think) and the fans were making rude remarks before the game. I was uncomfortable walking back to the hotel through the parking areas after the game. Fans yelling at us sand making obscene gestures. And we lost! Never want to go back.
