not much rain. Total of 0.9" last week, and just dumped out 0.8" from the rain gauge from yesterday. Every little bit helps, but we need a good old fashioned frawg strangler! It has been a long dry spell. Dry, D-R-I.

Went for a drive to pick up some things and got rained on last evening, only to pull into a completely dry driveway..like the storms excluded a 1000 foot radius of my house.

clouds seem to literally part and go above and below my immediate Orangeburg area, leaving us in a trough of dry air. If only I felt good enough to try and play golf again, I KNOW that would bring on the rain!

I know what you mean. We've had about 3/4 inch of rain in the last 8 days. I loved the local weather forecast this morning - hot and humid with a chance of rain everyday except possibly Thursday. There is a good chance everyone should see some rain this week, maybe.

In the last 50 days, we have gotten .57 inches of rain in Kingstree!! That's from the USGS site, not me guessing. I'm now leaving my kayak at home, and walking Black River. PARCHED...
