Sec could get in… if they accomplished this then they will try a 4 loss team.

so they could get expansion so that the sec could get the maximun number of teams. if they go to expand again playing the set number of automatic bids for the sec and big..the other conference presidents should tell them to pound sand and go form their own little thing..and when they do refuse to play them in football. base ball, basketball and every other sport.

The Presidents would definitely have to include all of the other sports, and this may upset a few, but if you are not in the SEac or BIG no other team should play them. That would mean a lot of rivalry games would end, but it would take that.

The rankings are no surprise. BYU lost and fell 8 spots so it will be interesting to see next week how the loser of the Indiana-Ohio State game is treated.

Indiana is in trouble. Tennessee at #11 is on the outside looking in, so the Hoosiers will fall hard to get the Vols in.

Oh that's easy. If Indiana loses they'll fall at least 7-8 spots but if OSU loses they'll fall no more than 3-4, even though they'll have one more loss at that point. Indiana doesn't have the largest most obnoxious fan base in the country to keep them in the playoffs with as many as 3 losses, unlike the bucknuts. This season should make it more obvious than ever that the polls are nothing more than a popularity contest and if certain popular teams lose 2-3 games they are held to a different standard than the rest of the country.

5 SEC teams are getting in. And if there are 6 that finish 6-2 in their conference, the volume of the whining, complaining, screaming, belly-aching that the Big 12 or ACC champ made it on over the 6th will be deafening.
