If you would pass on a 5 star just because he said university of clemson instead of clemson university seems pretty irrelevant. He made a mistake and prob just Used to most school being university of .... this kid is a stud and would a be a beast addition to the 19 class!

I don't understand how it was stupid? I was relying to the guy that said if he can't say it correctly then pass on him. Meaning if he can't get it right by saying clemson university then we should pass. I was saying that Is stupid to pass on a 5* bc he said university of Clemson. Sounds pretty locigal to me to still try and land the guy and add him to the 19 class. If you were trying to say my posh wss stupid then I don't get how.

Kid was good at opening even tho the XT play but he's only a rising junior so he handled his own for his age. 19 class is going to be beast

Say what you want, but I would rather we get really good linemen than those really good RB's. IMO, good OLinemen can make average RB's look like Heisman candidates. And really good DLinemen make their great RB's look average. I'll stick with the linemen, and the RB's will come to CLEMSON knowing that they can run thru huge holes.

In case some have not noticed, we now are a huge factor in rankings and projected success each year is the strength of our OL. That has been the missing link that kept us from getting to the highest level. That now is fixed, and everybody will see just how important that is to overall success. It's the "big uglies" that make the offense great, mediocre or weak. Skill is great, but the OL can make the difference in greatness.

I credit BV, too. But for the stellar defenses he has fielded, we wouldn't have had the success, nor would it have made us as attractive for these recruits to give us a look. Now we don't just get a look, but we are in the hunt on darn near every recruit in the country that we would consider.

We've made an offer to a good oline athlete, so we can be sure he earned the offer. All linemen make mistakes at times in footwork and body position. Bet Dobbs learned something from his XT encounter.
About his mistake in calling us the University of Clemson. That's one he won't make again if he accepts and becomes a Tiger.
