Waymo driverless car picked him up in North PHX to take him ~20 miles south to Tempe/Chandler. Still very limited on where they can travel and they only drive on surface streets for now, no highways, but still....



He said it's not quite as fast as an Uber/Lyft because surface streets only and strict speed limits, but it's cheaper, and no small talk with a driver that neither of you care about having but feel like you're obligated to.

of a parking spot, so I've just turned all of them off. I am not ready to trust my life with this technology.
