Amnesia is a common trait among today's MAGAts.
WW2 could have been avoided if we would have just appeased Hitler and given him everything he wanted.

It's disgusting. I am embarrassed for our country, but I do believe this shytt stain of leadership will be gone and we will rebound at one point and these disgraces will be a distant memory and a warning that all of this is serious. You don't punt some junk candidiate out there like Kamala because she fits the boxes of what the Dems want to push. This is the real world and heavy shytt. The Dems need to step it up.

Definitely. The Dems are more worried about trans, identity politics, and nonsense. They are asleep at the wheel. The real world is charging on. They made Trump. The Dems made Trump possible.

What would it take for you to take a hard look in the mirror, and say "you know what? Maybe Trump isn't the swell guy I think he is"?
I won't criticize anything you say unless you fail to answer this question honestly, in which case I just won't say anything to you at all and will write you off as I have so many other Trump supporters who never have anything substantial to reply with.

However Trump’s first few months in office have been dominated by identity politics until the tariffs came to fruition. He did the border tightening, which was great, but that came and went. Until tariffs, the rest of his time has been consumed with identity politics, and tariffs. MAGA is as guilty of the identity politics as the Dems are.

Dems lost is a shallow analysis. Trump ran heavy on identity politics, just a different identity, and he won. It’s more nuanced than just saying identity politics is bad and that’s why Dems lost.

Foreign reporter trolls Trump for calling the EU "parasites".
Apr 17, 2025, 7:15 PM
|
|
This is funny as crap. Trump, in a million years, could never pull off using the word "parasites" in anything resembling proper context. He obviously never used the word parasites, even though he has alluded to Europeans being "parasites" probably 1,000 times. But the reporter screwed up overestimating his vocabulary, and gets shot down.
No, Trump never called them "parasites" because that word is too bigly for his vocabulary.

Dear Tiggity®,
Surely you know this, but for the benefit of your fellow TDSers I will enlighten them about an aspect of conducting a negotiation.
For example, a third party arbitrator endeavoring to get two differing other parties to arrive at a mutually acceptable agreement. (Mutually acceptable does not necessarily mean that both parties will like the outcome of the arbitration. Mutually agreeable may mean that the weaker party gets to continue to exist, as opposed to being wiped out or spending the remainder of his life in prison.)
That aspect is: Do not #### off the stronger party in the negotiation by publicly ridiculing him.
xxxxxxx
The UN has been utterly ineffective at getting Russia to back out of their Special Operation in Ukraine. Sanctions by the EU have failed miserably; after whacking Russia’s GDP growth into negative territory back in 2022, Russia has made the economic adjustments and is now growing their GDP at rates exceeding the Biden Handlers Admin’s GDP growth.
The UN vote about condemning Russia was nothing more than impotent virtue signalling. Impotence is a characteristic of the ‘new masculinity’ lauded by Democrats. Thank goodness that MAGA is not part of the ‘new masculinity’ agenda.

Dear RememberTheDanny,
Surely you know, but for the benefit of your fellow MAGA cultists, I will enlighten you on the #1 principle in "deal making" that supersedes any and everything you just wrote.
If you make a deal with a country, a person, a business, a judge, your wife, or your kids, and you break that deal, they will no longer make deals with you in the future because they will NOT TRUST YOU to keep your word. A deal is only as good as the word, and the honor of the person making it. For the same reasons the US does not make deals with Putin, that very same reason is why no one wants to make deals with Trump.
Trump dishonors this great country when he breaks deals HE MADE BEFORE, and his predecessors. Part of making a deal is living with it. If two companies make a trade deal, and one company gets a new CEO who refuses to honor the prior CEO's deal, no deals will be made in the future.
To date, aside from his own promises/deals he has broken to our neighbors, and closest friends, he has broken deals we made with countless countries as well. Some of which will cause great pain in the country. You think anyone in Africa will make a deal with Trump, after he pulled the plug on USAID?
And the results of this, he's is clueless about. Our dollar is in decline, and will continue to decline, because the world PREVIOUSLY trusted America, and that gave our dollar supreme strength as the world's reserve currency. As trust is lost, the dollar declines, investment will decline, and there are no deals to be made with people lacking honor. The honor to keep their promises, and those promises that came before them as well.
