Never say never I guess but I’d be surprised if Dabo made the jump to the NFL. Maybe if CFB doesn’t get its act together in the next 5 years or so. Otherwise I think he sees college as his calling - growing young men.

Dabo reached out to the Jags about it. They've been hesitant to reach out, but I know there is communication from Clemson to Jax.

Matt Luke has no desire to be head man. He likes his position because it allows him to spend more time with his family.

Luke may be like Conn-a CO HC. But a big part of the Allen hire was to bring in someone who will continue Dabos culture if the right NFL job comes up.

I assume since being a college coach is already like coaching in the NFL with NIL and free agency periods, he might as well try his hand in the big league.

From a personal growth standpoint, it would make sense as there is nothing he can accomplish in CFB that he has not already accomplished. Almost everyone could use a different set of problems from time to time.

Let’s me know you have read very little of it. Study prophecy and let me know which parts you consider to be fiction. It’s actually playing out before your eyes.

I have always thought these two quotes hit the nail on the head!
Stephen Hawking famously said, "Religion (heaven) is a fairy tale for people afraid of the dark"
John Lennox: “Atheism is a fairy tale for people afraid of the light"

I read that Tyler Shatley wanted to play another couple of seasons after his rehab was done. He only retired because Dabo let on that he needed a solid culture guy in Jax.
Look for Shatley to get the nod as O-Line coach/assistant.

Feel free to come check me on this when it happens. I don’t believe for one second Dabo would have wasted his time to find an elite DC to just bolt for another job.
1. It’s not Dabo’s job to find his successor 2. I don’t think he’d sell Allen on his vision and get him to come to Clemson to just say nevermind I’m gone. That’s not Dabo.

Can’t imagine Jags would go for another college coach after the Urban debacle. I think that has everything to do with Urbana character and not his resume or experience. But to hire another college coach after that would open the door to criticism (deserved or not) specifically for potentially wasting Trevor Lawrence, considered the least risky 1st pick of the last decade. They need a proven offensive schemer like Ben Johnson or Joe Brady. It’s the safe bet and the one least likely to get the GM in hot water if it doesn’t result in a SB appearance.

The only remote thing it said was tlaw making daboism quotes on how to run a football program. The quote, play anyone, anytime, anywhere. Spot the ball. I want us to be a team that nobody wants to play. Dabo has stated, as many others, the same thing.
Takes a real pos to start a rumor like this. Love tatted cops posts and if a high level iptay donor started it, I don't blame tatted for reporting it.
More trash from T-Net as usual. The front page stories are mostly old stolen reporting from Larry Williams site. The forums are uncontrolled and shouldn't be free. Thousands of posts that are redundant instead of categories.

Dabo finally returned my call late last night. After talking business, he did confirm that he ain’t going to the NFL ever.

Seems like a stretch. Dabo made 11.1 Million last season, Doug Petersen made 8.5. So Dabo is going to take a 3 million dollar pay cut and less stability. Further, the Jags aren't going to probably even match the 8.5 petersen made for a coach with no NFL experience. I love Dabo and have no doubt he would excel anywhere, but if the Jags were to pay him more or even match that then they need to hire a new GM, bad business move

The college football that Dabo loved coaching (and was so good at recruiting in) is a thing of the past.
He has said that if the players started getting paid, that he would get out. Is this his chance ? With a great QB and RB. Could he get the front office help he needs to build a contender ? It would be fun to watch.

As long as Kahn is running that team, it will continue to be a #### show. Dabo should stay as far away as possible.

but are systematic robot managers. Dabo doesnt' strike me as the type that would ever go that route. I could be wrong but I dont see it. I could see him coaching another college team though.
