Zero chance Wiggins plays in bowl

If I'm Trotter, I wouldn't play either. Carter probably doesn't either, but he has more of a decision to make. His film this year has a lot of bad stuff on it with all the miss tackles, miss fits, and getting run over by RBs. Personally, I wouldn't mind if Ruke and TD skip the bowl too to start the youth movement on the DL.

I’d be shocked if Wiggins or Trotter play. Carter needs another year to boost his stock. Did not have a great 2023. I’d like to see Ship play the bowl game but not sure if he will.

As much as I'd hate to see them sit out, such a great opportunity for the younger players to get quality reps to spring board into next year.

Big one right away vs UGA.

Enjoy the win… bowl will take care of itself. If they play they play. As long as they graduate we wish them well.

Neither will a lot of guys from the other team

For example, if we happen to play LSU there's no chance Jayden Daniels plays. He's accounted for about 90% of their offense this year, so good luck to them and their backup QB.

based on your whiney azzzzed posting history. BECAUSE, up till NOW, Clemson hasn't had a problem with Opt Outs.

I was just trying to remember ANY Clemson opt-outs and can't

been a playoff game, he would have been playing last year. The injury really gave him an out without being officially an opt out like Murphy.

Agree, don't think wiggins, trotter or carter will play. I still think Carter

because he will score well at the NFL combine. Not sure about Davis, ruke and thomas. Normally I don't like seeing guys sit out but I wouldn't mind seeing the younger guys get more experience for next year. Future looks bright! Go Tigers!

The talk of Carter going pro is silliness.

He needs to get ppl out of his ear abt a high draft potential, it isn’t happening until he becomes a much better tackler. He missed more tackles than he made last night, and missed several huge tackles throughout the year.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Carter has shown inability to tackle - doesn't matter what his measurables are.***

Some guys love the journey and want the team to win no matter what. Just because a guy might be a draft pick doesn't mean they automatically sit. It also doesn't mean they automatically go to the draft. Plus, all these guys are getting paid to play and not sit on their rumps. There are also opportunities to improve their stock when playing a quality opponent.

All this not playing in the Bowl game nonsense is horse-hooey! Those who do not are obviously NOT "All-in". And, if I am giving NIL money, part of the contract would be to play in every game you earn a spot andcare not injured. Just my .02 worth.

IMO, Wiggins is the most likely to opt out. I don’t think Trotter is that guy. Wouldn’t blame him at all if he did, but I think his love for the game won’t let him opt out.

Any Juan who has been on here for more than a year knows my opinion of the whole opt out movement, but it is the world we live in today.

Dabo and company did a good job to keep players like XT, TD, Ruke, Trotter, Barrett, Wiggins and a few others from checking out after the FSU game. Kudos to those guy’s commitment to team and Clemson. SC game had to be personal and the last thing outside of team, to play for. Now for the guys mentioned…it’s business. Bowl game lets youngsters practice, recruits attend practices, and second string play for next year. Potential pro player go get ready for combine to make folks speak Clemson during the draft and their pro careers. Forget the rah rah stuff in this day and age. Mho

GO TIGERS! Thanks for last night’s win.
