I have stated in multiple postings that there is no reason why we can't compete in every sport we play. We are competing and that's good, but the jury is still out.

I never complained on here publicly about Brownell. I have from the beginning said I think he is a good coach, however his ability to recruit head to head with other ACC schools could be his demise. I still feel this way, yet am excited to think this group of overacievers will make the tourney. Why do you think we have so many transferring out??

You and others seem to equate questioning a coach with not supporting the team/student athletes.

I never complained on here publicly about Brownell. I have from the beginning doubted his ability to go head to head against other ACC schools. I feel after this time we will have flashes of good coached teams that will fall short inevitably. I like Coach Brownell , but still think he is not the answer for long lived success. On a side note why does so many players transfer out?

right now, but you just can't ignore the past seasons or even the slow start to this season. Nor can you overlook the recruiting aspect.
Has BB earned another year regardless how this season plays out? Absolutely!
He's got his chance. We'll see how it goes.

I disagree on Holmes. Perhaps not what I prefer from a pg. Getting lucky by beating out Old Dominion or Bradley for a player is not great recruiting. Where is the plethora of local talent (NC,SC , ATL) heading? Recruiting in any sport hinges on having local influences that make a player want to play for the "home team".

a month ago. Obviously there are people on here that take things like that too far, but to think everything was peachy and BB was, without question, the right man for the job a month ago would've just been naive.
Him and the players both deserve a ton of credit for turning things around and playing fantastic basketball since the start of the ACC schedule, but lets not get all holier than thou just because there was some doubt about the direction of the program a month ago. I think it was perfectly reasonable at the time.

I have been one of his biggest supporters on this website and even I had my doubts starting last year and towards the end of our OOC schedule this year. Mainly the UGA loss.

Kids are playing really well. However, 6 of the next 10 are true road games. Some on this bored think we are out of the woods. This will be tough, we will see what these guys are truly made of.
Having said that keep knocking them down Tigs!
