LOL. SEC pushes for more teams in the playoffs, but it there were only 4 in, they would have a team in the Natty. UGa was ranked 2 and Texas was ranked 3.

Since their 1st team beat the brakes off of Duke’s JV team.
The Coots are still crying about their pick six against LSU…it really was a #### call by the refs. BUT Illinois took care of that argument with authority. Back to Pork Chop. He couldn’t stop Sackerlina’s run game (Sellers) with a banana peel and a prayer.
Bama, well Herbie and the rest of the talking heads back tracked on that argument in a hurry.

not a real thing. And yet, here we are, for the second year in a row now, without an SEC team, even a Big 12 refugee, appearing in it. He must have been mistaken?
One thing for sure, he will now be trying to move heaven and earth to revamp the Playoffs in SOME way that will guarantee an SEC team in the finals. He will probably try to push for a bye for the Mighty SEC Champion all the way to one of the two slots in the Natty Finals.
I think it is about time for the rest of college football to tell the SEC, "BITE ME!"
