He’d had enough exposure to Brownell to know what needed to be done a year ago. Kicking the can down the road the way he did was a mistake that just showed he wasn’t prepared to take on a coaching search.

i watched him awkwardly stare at every miss SC lady at the UNC football game
... no one else was looking at them let alone staring . i'm talking 30seconds + creep style .
my good/bad person reads go off the charts bad when i'm near him . so yeah. not a fan
go watch videos of him online. he's super fake and manipulator to the max .
maybe y'all could be friends or something .

i never liked him either. i remember his first season in Clemson and interacting with him while i was around town at work. he looked down on restaurant workers and was very condescending
i've wanted him out based on personality since the start. and has he produced anything that rivals Prunell? not even close.
basically ... his true character has never changed and as you can see shown on videos with him talking to his team or on tv coaching his team . it's not anything if a quality Clemson Man

I honestly don’t know what we need. A gold plated practice facility, a new pep band, better place to work out, better buses to travel on, new uniforms, better fans. I’m really just not sure.

I think we saw yesterday what good coaching can do. That isn’t a good GT team. They were picked only ahead of Louisville and Notre Dame who are varying degrees of dumpster fire. Stoudamire has them punching above their weight and playing a very high energy game despite their lack of success. I’m not necessarily predicting they win a bunch more games. He won’t have the fortune of coaching against Brownell but once more. But for the future, looks like another ACC team might have found their guy while we keep twiddling our thumbs.
