Nope - can't use "THE University of South Carolina" because everyone knows that South Carolina was part of the Confederacy, therefore it follows that ALL THINGS named South Carolina, or located in that terrible place, MUST be racially biased. So sorry, this name won't work. Neither will any name of European dissent - or any other part of the world (including Africa) - because there have been slaves in those places. And we can't go with native American either, even if it is predominantly used today as geographic in nature. Probably best to go with "University of the Upstate." How about "University of Reformed Racists?"

I think we should follow Princes' lead and go with an unpronounceable symbol of some sort. Of course this symbol would need to be vetted through all of recorded history to insure it had never been associated with anyone, or any institution, who had ever done anything to offend 21st century Marxists. If all else fails maybe we should go with Che Guevara U. Since most Marxists seem to admire him greatly he must be free of all that messy baggage and instead be a real champion of freedom of the press, civil liberties in general, and specifically the rights of the homosexual community. Probably should just go ahead and name it after him to start with.
