I always wonder about these teams like Colorado and FSU that go heavy on portal players. At some point, egos will start creeping in. Especially when they are winning.

What you are going to see with portal guys, they going to be bought and stay one year, go back into portal for highest bidder for second year. It’s going to be like NFL but only one year contract.

I’m more worried about the NIL than the portal. You will have some players making more than the coaches. It will be more business than heart in the games. One of the reasons I have always loved college football more than the NFL. It’s sad to see that going away

NCAA is starting to make it difficult to transfer to multiple schools. This will hopefully cut down on the amount of transfers going to 3 plus schools. With the threat of possibly sitting out a year they may think twice of transferring again.

I don’t think it was or ever will be revealed what was said or why. Try to read lips, it appeared CJ said something to Will that caused him to respond emotionally.
Others have said it appeared CJ questioned Wills effort on the previous play. Not a good look but players and coaches get emotional during games.
Point is, who knows if there is real descent at FSU or not.

And I read lips to supplement my hearing. The play before Klubniks td where Shipley went down at the half yard line he got up and looked to the sideline as usual and I saw his demeanor change and directly after he heard or saw what he saw/heard it looked like he said (I watched a couple time because the face mask was in the way of the last word), "That was my hole." I could be wrong but I think the line and back were not on the same page. Ut seemed like Ship believed that was his route.

There was a real descent at FSU a few years ago. Most people besiege they are in the way back up now.

LT Trent Howard #75 gets knocked backwards two full yards by the DT #7 and regathers himself to get a little two yard push back but by that time Shipley is on his heels and the LB #5 is backing up #7. Shipley looks at the sideline and then takes out his mouthpiece and you hear him scream at a high pitch “What are you mad at me for!” I have no idea what was said on the sideline between the two because Wes Durham is talking over it and you can’t see Shipley’s face or mouth. It did look like CJ was fixin to whoop his *** though.

Mafa seems to be playing the best. Start your best. By the way, did not all these Online guys play last year. Dabo needs to hire a big time O line coach that will build us finally an Online. Lawrence and Watson had to run for their life but they were good enough to keep the offense going.

These portal guys, particularly 5 stars are just around for the money and exposure. Their goal is NFL and NFL money while they get there. Not surprised to see anything from them-its all about numbers and highlights.

Yep like other people mentioned, when you have a modern portal player come in expecting to be WR1, you’re going to get issues like this.
Because of course, they’re thinking “if they don’t want to give me my touches, I can always go elsewhere.”.
