The Wrath of Khan...

Aug 1, 2016, 12:31 PM

...Exposed!

Khizr Muazzam Khan graduated in Punjab University Law College, as the New York Times confirms. and he specialized in International Trade Law in Saudi Arabia. An interest lawyer for Islamic oil companies Khan wrote a paper, called In Defense of OPEC to defend the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), an intergovernmental oil company consisting of mainly Islamic countries. Khan is a promoter of Islamic Sharia Law. Khan is also co-founder of the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Muslim Law (Islamic Sharia).

Khan’s fascination with Islamic Sharia stems from his life in Saudi Arabia. During the eighties Khan wrote a paper titled Juristic Classification of Islamic [Sharia] Law. In it he elucidated on the system of Sharia law expressing his reverence for “The Sunnah [the works of Muhammad] — authentic tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).”

Did, which has nothing to do with him..except for a supposed grieving father that grieves on a DNC stage and perpetuates his 15 minutes of fame on his sons back.

Aug 1, 2016, 2:22 PM [ in reply to Re: The Wrath of Khan... ]

"except for a supposed grieving father"

I cannot imagine the gall and seeming hard-heartedness it must take to question his grief over his son's death.

so ur sayin' that his father supported the same folks who blew up his kid? i'm guessin' the kid didn't believe in what dad wanted? so the wife probably didn't speak at the DNC cause dat Sharia law stuff would have allowed Mr. Khan to publicly beat his wife on stage? Wow, just wow.

Bravo. His son died bravely fighting for America and saving the lives of several fellow soldiers, and well, you've decided to hate on his parents because they're Muslim and instead side with a privileged demagogue who has never had to work for anything in his life.

Bravo, sir.

Silver lining of the American Trump disaster....

Aug 2, 2016, 8:50 AM

it clearly marks all the would-be Nazis in this country.

Some people are so helpless to being manipulated by the cult of personality that they would sink to inhuman, evil lows to defend their fearless leader. Had they been born in Germany at the right time... is there any doubt that they would kiss Hitler's feet?

Many people are sheep, some people are downright dangerous.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

First "mouth breathers" and now comparing to Nazi's...

Aug 2, 2016, 8:59 AM

you are certainly covering all the bases!!

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think there is a reasonable, valuable comparison between

Aug 2, 2016, 9:12 AM

elements of human nature that led to the Third Reich and with those that lead to the popularity of people like Erdogan, Trump and demagogues in general.

Many people are susceptible to letting their xenophobia and jingoism overcome their capacity for consistently applied critical thinking.

I'm not saying Trump people are evil, I'm saying that they are suckers to people like Trump who have the ability to whip them in a hateful frenzy if the situation is right.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Wow, this is the perfect description of...

Aug 2, 2016, 9:54 AM

...the sheeple who follow the democrat party. Stupid is doing (voting) for the same ol, same ol and expecting different results. If there ever was a person who would lock-step with Hitler it would be Hitlery in her quest to move up in any organization to achieve power.

And those, on the right who follow the establishment need to open their eyes too. Perhaps Trump is still a libtard and perhaps we are seeing two libtards tripping over each other on their way to the presidency.

badge-donor-15yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hillary would be an awful president and an enemy to the

Aug 2, 2016, 10:00 AM

constitution, but she doesn't use jingoism or xenophobia like Trump.

Hillary is a fascist-lite because she is part of the movement to centralize authority in the executive of the federal government and erode civil liberties. But she isn't appealing to the same human flaws to get there. She's appealing to a different type. And now, because Trump and his supporters are so completely blind to what's going on, she's able to appeal to moderates.

Had ANY of the other republicans won the primary, it would be a cake-walk for the GOP. My choice would have been easy. But the ugly element of the GOP ruined that and destroyed the conservative movement along with it.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The GOP lost their way along time ago...and I'm talking...

Aug 2, 2016, 10:18 AM

...so long ago that Trump was a "democrat" still. Sadly, the Tea Party supporters were demonized to non-existence by the media and the left and some on the right who were cowards. Both parties have little respect for the Constitution. If we followed the Constitution we'd be in better shape.

Hey, at least Trump will probably rock the boat and shake things up...whereas same ol, same ol will just continue down the path of destruction of what most folks love about the USA.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Aug 2, 2016, 10:02 AM

You can't make a coherent point, so you refer to a common Trump tactic. Appeal to the insecurities of the angry, intellectually unfortunate.

I have not said a single positive thing about myself. You just feel insecure so you are making that your angle of attack.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This has absolutely nothing to do with Trump.

Aug 2, 2016, 10:17 AM

Its a noted, stated, observable fact.

When you start the day with calling others a "mouth breather", then later go on to state that "many other can't see..." I'm going to take a wild leap here and guess you don't consider yourself a "mouth breather", or those "others" who are blinded by Trump, hence making you smarter than they are?

Is that correct?

And there's no anger with you. I guess you would like that, as that would signify that you actually matter to me. In fact, you bring me a certain amount of joy as I laugh at your antics to try and prove how smart and informed you are.

He very well may have ruined the party that was most...

Aug 2, 2016, 10:07 AM [ in reply to apparently he has also "ruined the conservative movement" ]

sympathetic to that movement though.

I really hope there is not going to be the down-ticket bloodbath that I think there may be.

If we end up with Hillary as POTUS with a dem controlled Senate and a dem controlled House or a GOP House with a razor thin margin...loss of GOP governors and GOP state houses, the blame will be placed (and rightly so) at Trump's feet.

I hope none of that happens, but it very well could, especially after this last week.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree with you. The frenzy hasn't happened.

Aug 2, 2016, 10:04 AM [ in reply to We disagree there...I think Trump is a walking disaster... ]

And it may never happen. But he's the type, and his supporters are the type. It takes a serious historical event to lead to something as crazy as the Third Reich.
