Had we kept running the zone read or even the double reverse to his side we'd have eaten them alive in the second half. But the Chad has had a habit of going away from the run when theings get a little ugly, see FSU, SC and the third quarter of the LSU game for that.

Tajh had a lot of scrambles in that game due to pressure which I don't consider them running plays as they were initially pass plays.

I think the FSU and USC games seemed to follow your outline, but the LSU playcalling seemed different from both. I thought we were very patient and deliberate even through a number of miscues.

4 times Boyd ran because of pressure while trying to pass so doesn't that make it 4 rushes to 10 pass attempts?

i personally thought the LSU game was Chad's best game calling performance in his tenure at Clemson. The Chad does seem to have the tendancy to get of his game plan when things get a little tough. I don't know if it is a panic or what, but it seems to happen some when we get down by 3-10pts or our offense seems to go a couple of 3 and outs. I thought the FSU and USuc games were prime examples of this.
I will say that he didn't hit the panic button in the LSU game. He seemed to stay more on target the entire game. Hopefully he will stay true during the UGA game. Regardless, of what some on TNet say about UGA's secondary being young, they still have as potent an offense as anyone in the country. I look for this game to be high scoring back and forth. Hopefully, we can sustain drives at our pace that will keep them sweating in the August heat. Worst thing for our defense will be 3 and outs and then having to deal with Murray and those RB's.

The point is that a loss to clemson doesnt hurt them as much as a loss to the gamecocks. A loss to clemson really doesnt do anything to their season.
