They have the lowest % odds on the ESPN playoff predictor for bubble teams at just 18%.

We of course have to beat SMU but at least we have a sure path

If we get in by beating SMU, the Coots will 100% be left out b/c those percentages are banking on SMU winning.

It would be the perfect "you're welcome" to the Cooters. It will bother them more than a losing to us.

At least we have a chance to control our own destiny and they don't. Losing head to head to both Alabama and Ole Miss is not going to bode well for them for an at large.
