RB Terrance Flagler (182-1986) was part of a highly talented RB room at Clemson. He still managed to stand out with great talent around him.
During Clemson:
ClemsonTigers.com described Flagler’s career as follows:
Terrence Flagler
Football:1982-86 A first-team All-America running back in the 1986 season, Terrence Flagler played football for Clemson over a five-year period from 1982-86. He did not see much playing time during his first few seasons with the Tigers due to a knee injury that he suffered early in his freshman campaign.
But in his senior season in 1986, Flagler was the runner-up as the ACC Player-of-the-Year. He was 13th in the nation in rushing with 1,258 yards and was among the national leaders in yards per carry (6.6). His 1,258 rushing yards in 1986 are still third-most in a season in Clemson history.
As a member of the 1986 ACC Championship squad, Flagler set a Clemson regular-season record for rushing yards per game. One of his biggest games in the 1986 season was against Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, NC, where he scored four touchdowns and amassed 274 all-purpose yards. In all, he totaled 1,446 all-purpose yards in the 1986 season thanks to his 1,258 rushing yards and 188 receiving yards.
By the end of the 1986 season, Flagler had set 10 Clemson records, including the single-game mark for all-purpose yards. He became the first Tiger to total 200 rushing yards twice in one season.
Flagler touched the ball in almost 40 percent of the Tigers’ offensive plays in the 1986 season and finished as the leading scorer in the ACC with 78 points on his 13 touchdowns.

Similarly, the (Anderson) Independent Mail describes Flagler’s Clemson career as follows:
Terrence Flagler, Football, 1982-86 - First-team All-American by the Football Writers Association in 1986 - Runner-up ACC Player of the Year, 1986 - 13th in nation in rushing in 1986 (1258 yards), third nationally in yards per carry (6.6) - Scored four touchdowns and had 274 all-purpose running yards in win over Wake Forest in 1986 - Set Clemson regular-season record for rushing yards per game (107) in 1986 - Member of the 1986 ACC Championship team - Finished his Clemson career in second place for most yards per carry

After Clemson:
Between 1987 and 1991, Terrence Flagler played for the San Francisco 49ers and the Phoenix Cardinals. According to Pro-Football.com, Flagler registered the following stats in his NFL career:
- 41 NFL Games - 56 Carries for 237 Yards - 2 Rushing Touchdowns - 33 Receptions for 366 Yards - 1 Receiving Touchdown - 57 Kick Returns for 1,049 Yards

More recently, Terrence Flagler has continued to give back to his community and to stay involved in the sport he loves. He has been serving as a football coach at IMG Academy. Flagler is listed as “Head Coach” at IMG, however, there are other people who hold titles that include head coach:

I agree with you Pig®! Flagler was very productive - yet you always thought that there was something more.
With all that said, I loved watching him play as a young kid!

132 - Tyler Grisham Recorded 132 Receptions for Clemson

Before Clemson:
In Summer 2004 WR Tyler Grisham (2005-2008) had not received any Division 1 offers – until certain college scouts measured his 40 time. As ClemsonTigers.com puts it:
It was the summer of 2004, and Clemson camper and now Wide Receivers Coach Tyler Grisham, a rising senior in high school from the Birmingham, Ala. area with no Division I college offers, shocked those in attendance with his 40-yard dash time.
All of the stopwatches were under 4.5, including some at 4.44, a time the Clemson roster of wide receivers could not match, with the exception of Airese Currie. “Coach (Tommy) Bowden and the other coaches on staff at the time were big on having the campers run the 40,” recalled Dabo Swinney, who was in his second year as wide receivers coach on Bowden’s staff.
“When he ran that first 40, the coaches couldn’t believe it, so they made him run it again. When he was sub 4.5 the second time, they had him run it again. On the third run, a lot of coaches came over to see it, including Coach Bowden. “He ran sub 4.5 on all three runs.” … “By the end of camp, Coach Bowden said we could offer him. We did in his office, and he committed on the spot.”
Grisham recalled it was a very easy decision.
https://clemsontigers.com/tyler-grisham/#:~:text=Grisham%20finished%20his%20career%20with,contract%20with%20the%20Pittsburgh%20Steelers.
At Clemson:
While at Clemson, Tyler Grisham became a highly reliable receiver. According to Sports-Reference.com, he registered the following stats:
Tyler Grisham (2005-2008): - 132 Receptions for 1.390 Yards (10.5 Average) - 8 Receiving Touchdowns - 9 Carries for 48 Yards (5/3 Average) - 4 Kick Returns for 65 Yards (16..3 Average)
https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/tyler-grisham-1.html
When asked what stood out for him as a Clemson player, Grisham’s answer clearly prioritized people – even over touchdowns. According to ClemsonTiger.com:
One of the important victories for Swinney down the stretch in his drive to become the head coach on a permanent basis was a 13-3 win at Virginia. Grisham scored the only touchdown of the game on a 15-yard pass from C.J. Spiller.
It was probably the biggest play of his career, but when asked about his fondest memories as a Tiger, Grisham went in a different direction.
“My proudest moment at Clemson was being named a captain my senior year. That was a special honor. To have that ‘C’ on my jersey meant a lot.
“Making bonds with the guys…that is what I cherish the most. I loved the summers grinding with my teammates. Those were special relationships. A lot of those guys were in my wedding.”
https://clemsontigers.com/tyler-grisham/#:~:text=Grisham%20finished%20his%20career%20with,contract%20with%20the%20Pittsburgh%20Steelers.
After Clemson Playing Career:
According to Wikipedia, Tyler Grisham experienced the following NFL career:
Pittsburgh Steelers After the completion of his college football career, Grisham was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent after going undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft. He spent the first 12 games of the 2009 NFL season on the Steelers practice squad, and was added to the 53-man roster on December 10, 2009 after an injury to another receiver. Grisham made his first NFL reception on December 27, 2009 against the Baltimore Ravens for 14 yards, resulting in a first down.
Following the 2010 preseason, he was cut on September 4 when the Steelers set their 53-man roster. He was then signed to their practice squad on September 6 and finished the season in that roster status.
In 2011, Grisham was waived as part of the final cuts to the 53-man roster on September 2, but was added to the Steelers' practice squad on September 4 and again stayed in that roster status for the remainder of the season.
Grisham spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons on the Steelers' practice squad.
Denver Broncos Grisham signed a futures contract with the Denver Broncos in 2012, but was cut during the preseason.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyler_Grisham
Back to Clemson:
According to Sports Illustrated:
“After stints in the NFL with the Steelers and Broncos, Grisham returned to Clemson as a graduate assistant in 2014, then went on to become a member of the support staff as an offensive analyst, before becoming the full-time receivers coach prior to the 2020 season.”
https://www.si.com/college/clemson/recruiting/new-clemson-tigers-recruiting-coordinator-tyler-grisham-thinks-role-fits-him-well
Tyler Grisham now coaches WRs and serves as the Recruiting Coordinator on the Clemson staff. Being an assistant for Clemson has even had a scary moment for Grisham – and I don’t mean from angry fans. According to the Greenville News:
Clemson wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham took off from the local airport for his first flight as a recruiter, and for a short stint it appeared as if it could turn out to be his last before a harrowing safe landing in Georgia.
"I was the only one on board and the system shut down and they flew blind," Grisham recalled after Monday's practice "There was very little visibility with the fog. They were sweating and I could tell the pilots were anxious and that's not a good feeling, but we made it."
