I figured the SMU coach was trying to play head games. Like, the kicker is expecting we'll call a TO so I'm going to let it ride to maybe not take the kick seriously.
Thankfully we have to wonder what if! I'm still enjoying that replay 😂

Sometimes you can ice a kicker by making him think you are going to call timeout but when you don’t he gets all jimmy legged and kicks it sideways to the cheerleaders
