Believe what you want, but woke essentially means love thy neighbor. It’s not the strawman that political organizations want it to be. So if you believe in the New Testament, you may agree that isn’t for humans to judge or commit violence, but simply love and forgive each other and ourselves. God reserves the right to judge for himself alone.
In other news, some people say the American politicization of the term originated from Republican groups supporting Lincoln. So if republicans want to claim Lincoln, they have to claim “woke” too. FYI.

My organization has advanced degrees, and I can promise that there is zero corrrelation between the ability to “critically think” and those degrees. We are slowly moving away from the old adage that blue collar professions don’t possess a high level of critical thinking ability. Is the 22 year old slimeball with a GED who made his first million with subto real estate transaction , or algo trading, or remote cleaning businesses and his first 100 million selling online courses about his preferred hustle not “thinking critically”? If you look at the type people that are moving into the premiere neighborhoods of my area, they are more than likely guys or girls who have built up blue collar businesses ( plumbing, waste management) sold them and then rinsed and repeated a couple more times.

“Woke” is used by people when describing ideas that go against what they believe. Republicans use it against Democrats, Democrats use it against Republicans.
This country was a much better place when people could have civil discussions without name calling and putting others down. “News” outlets and social media pit people against each other and the mass public falls right into their trap.
