I think he's one of those guys who tries to rule through fear rather than exhibiting any actual leadership, and that leads to a constant need to shake things up and fire people. I guess he had to look deep to find those firings this year but I think you can go back and find a significant number of these internal staff turnovers throughout the Tepper era. They don't get big publicity and just aren't as well remembered as the coaching changes. Tepper is a perfect example of people who don't belong in the people business.

I agree hes a horible "leader". However he's nothing but a numbers guy and these folks numbers are about the only thing "good" or performing well based on NFL metrics.

taking his hands off some of the control. I guess backroom training staff was his way to satisfy his bloodthirst while not disrupting what might actually be going right with the team. Now lets see what they do in the draft. Need DL help, need OL help, need WR help.

little resurgences. But those are HIGHLY rated RBs who have paid their dues. Jeanty and Skateboo don't really strike me as one of those. I am hoping Etienne can have a breakout healthy year next year and justify his draft stock. Otherwise, he may be out of the NFL sooner rather than later.
