I ,for one,am glad you are not our head coach.
Our head coach is currently preparing for a road game at Duke,and is not thinking any thing beyond that.He is not worried about LSU/Bama,Oregon/USC,K.State or Notre Dame.
Of course ,if he were thinking of all the possibilities he would also have to think of all the scenarios that include FSU losing while Clemson runs the table to get to the ACC Championship because if we do not win the conference,while we might get an at large bid to a BCS Bowl,it would not be the NC game.
There is no destiny this year.Sorry to burst your bubble.Clemson is not in the top 10 in the BCS standings,and would need something short of a miracle to end up either at #1 or #2 which is the only scenario that would get Clemson in the BCSNC.
Hugh Steps.Try scaling Mt Everest without oxygen.You would have about the same chance of succeeding at this as playing in the NC.

It ain't happening. You forget that LSU would rise if they beat Bama. The winner of the SEC championship game would be ahead of us no matter what. Notre Dame is still undefeated and you know the media would love to see ND stay unbeaten and play for the NC. FSU is ahead of us and HAVE TO lose another conference game for us to even win our division. Had we beat FSU (and we had them on the ropes) we would be in the hunt but that loss killed our hopes. Kansas St., Georgia, Louisville, Oklahoma, Florida, South Carolina, Oregon St. are all ahead of us.

Still alot more teams to fall in front of us. Some of those teams would have to lose twice. Not sure it is our destiny in 2012. Hopefully 2013.
