It will take time to get in his players. His style of play is different than what patrino recruited. Arky fans do not want to win 2-4 years from now, they want to win NOW! The new HC also does not know the recruiting area at all as Wisconsin rarely hit up the south. This move was interesting.. it may pay off but idk.

I tend to agree. He has never coached in the south and does not have recruiting ties to the area. Maybe if he can recruit some of the big OL from Iowa/Wisconsin he can start something at Arky but it won't be an easy transition.

to that state. The good thing about both jobs is that you are the only school in the state, no rivals. I would rather be in the BiG than the SEC from a coach's point of view.

I don't understand why he'd want to leave a program he's built strong for one in a complete mess. I know Wisconsin is cold, but Arkansas has nothing other than Walmart's posse to offer.
