Cast is off, he is in a small brace. No timetable for a return has been announced.

My guess is they will ramp him up this week, see if he can go in any capacity this weekend (doubtful)

Also need to keep in mind her hasn't played in over 50 days so going to be hard to just throw him back in the lineup.

I think situational pinch running and hitting is more logical for the Supers. If CWS is in the cards then I would think he is ready for that. We'll see.

I would defense would be what he could play at ending of games. With the break in the wrist I would think it may be a few weeks to swing a bat.

I don't think there is any way he can come back and be a factor in the post-season. Just not enough time to knock off the rust and significantly contribute in the playoffs. In a perfect world, maybe he gets a chance to pitch hit or pitch run but I think even that is unlikely.

Don't forget that these guys are athletes that have been playing ball for a long time, and it won't take as long as you may think for them to be playing like nothing has happen to them...
