posed? Why would he step in and defend the man and the murder of the journalist?

Why wouldn't he allow the MBS to simply answer an excellent and difficult question?

I agree with David Frum. What is going through (MBS's) mind while he sits there in that room listening to Trump disavow his own US intelligence and defend him for something MBS knows he did?

I think what he is thinking is "I own him."

Saudi Arabia is a client state of the US. It is weak. It is militarily dependent. It brings very little to the party. It's got tremendous oil reserves. It can't protect them itself. It has no effective military. It's no Ukraine. It's not Israel. It has no ability to defend itself. It depends entirely on the US military guarantee which it now depends on.

And how are they getting it? They just bought the president of the United State."

I think a lot about that scene a few days ago where the Swiss delegation came to White House to visit president Trump and they brought him a kilogram of gold. It's worth $130,000 dollars. That's not a gesture of respect. That's a gesture of contempt. We think you're a crook. We think you can be bought with a shiny brick. We think you're not here for the United State. We think you're here for yourself. We've taken your measure. We don't respect you. He's given a vast fortune to Trump's children. There are a lot of people in the world who want to build hotels. Trump is by no means the world's most regarded hotel brand. They just bought a president. The president shouldn't be for sale.

Plus he's envious of MBS for killing journalists.

Both of those are true.***
