Why the flip did they have DW taking cutting drills so early

Nov 21, 2014, 9:15 AM

He shouldve been resting it all week. Then, come back to practice monday with a whole week to prepare for the SC game. Thats dumb.

This is funny.

Anyways, I totally agree with the OP. Completely stupid to have him doing reps this early.

I think it's a great sign

I like the fact the coaches have him taking first team reps preparing for SC already. But, I feel like theyre rushing him too fast. But, Im not a coach so I wouldnt know.

It was not on the coaches

These decisions are made by the medical staff

Yeah, If hes already doing cutting drills

Then his injury must not even be as bad as we thought. Cutting puts more stress on your knee than anything, so I would assume hes well

They were probably just testing it to see how far he was....

And told him to stop at the first ounce of pain. I don't think he actually "tweaked" anything, and instead he just isn't 100% pain free yet so he stopped and pulled up.

That's my perception of what happened anyways. I'd highly doubt the medical staff and coaching staff would put him in any danger.

You should strongly consider applying for the UF job !***
