Why should we let 4 to 5 percent of our population determine the direction of our country.

According to the latest Gallup poll homosexuals and transgenders represent about 3.8% of our US population. The average US citizen assumes over 1/3 of the US population is gay which maybe why so many liberals support their cause.
I don't care if you like me or my opinions but Biblecally the gay lifestyle is unatural and wrong. It's wrong because God states clearly in the Old and New Testament of the Bible it is morally wrong. And sin and imorallity is destroying our country from with in.
Because we have lost sight of the one true God our nation is headed for a crash and burn landing.
This transgender bathroom crap is the limit.
Many of our young people aged 15 to 28 think mine as well as many other older Americans views are old fashion and wrong. They refuse to listen to an older wiser person who has seen the consequences of an immoral society. IMO you either live by the Bible or you don't. You can't pick and choose what parts want to believe and what parts you don't believe from the Bible. It's an all or nothing deal. To many People especially our younger generation think you can ride the fence. Live and let live , everybody be happy! But sooner or later you have to get off the fence and take a stand. Will it be to late?? For some people unfortunately it will be to late.
Everybody should study WW II and that generation of Americans. They truly are the greatest generation. They know the meaning of commitment, integrity, character, moral values, and most important they took a stand for their beliefs and fought for them only to have future generations to spit in their face.
Sorry for getting long winded but it just angers me so much to see so many people with perfect vision but yet they are so blind!

I don't understand how such a small group of people can have so much power in determining what the rest of us must accept and why we are forced to accept their lifestyle. you might ask how it is that around 3% of people in the country can change the way the entire country thinks about sexuality. This isn't a question of equal rights under the law, which I think nearly everyone would agree that those 3% of people deserve. But that 3% has been so influential that they've managed to convince the current federal government to withhold funds from NC for protecting sex separated private places, they've convinced the current Dept. of Ed. that Title IX is really about not discriminating based on gender identity instead of sex, and they convinced a majority of the Supreme Court that gender/sex is irrelevant for marriage. Maybe part of the reason is that a lot of people already held the view, which is more natural for people whose romantic interests can never have anything to do with reproduction, that sexuality is purely romantic.

In the '90's federal funding for AIDS research was 10 x's higher than that for cancer while cancer patients outnumbered AIDS patients 10:1.
Having a very specific message and agenda equals a much higher payout with our federal govt.

I just don't understand why people have to air out their sexual preferences....
My wife is into some freaky stuff but she doesn't feel the need to post it on Facebook for the world to see or announce it on live television but for some reason now days if you do that you win an ESPY....
Strange times we're living in and it's getting even stranger....I mean who would have known 20 years ago we'd be allowing men in the women's bathroom....if somebody told you that I'm sure this would be your response....

3 cheers for Pat McCrorey and the NC legislature . I have no problem with gay , lesbian ,transsexuals , or any one's sexual preference . .... But if you have to stand up to pee , you go into the men's room. If you squat to pee , you go in ladies room.
Frack the DOJ and all those companies who choose to boycott the state . They are weak and misguided in their understanding of this situation .
