So the media is "turning" on him shortly after Newsome says he is not running for president and also shortly after allegations of smoking gun evidence of impeachable offenses are made public. This seems a bit choreographed.
But why? Biden has done as much as any democrat could reasonably hope. Why would the king makers want him replaced? Given the great success of his last campaign and the undeniable successes of his administration (from the perspective of the democrats constituency) it would seem a no brainer for his continued support.

Biden still saying he will run again but that could change soon. Dems are seriously afraid of Kamala getting a sniff at presidency. The Dems hate Kennedy because he plays middle ground and with a slight lean but I think he is tired of corruption. Newsome was gonna be their choir boy so I am shocked he backed out. Pelosi announced she will run for House again and she is 83, time for her to retire, but she will fight to keep Kennedy down.

Right now Biden is their best candidate and if these Hunter charges continue to grow that could end quickly. They do have Fetterman, ha! What a sham that was! Dems gotta find someone soon as Biden's approval is at 33% nationwide.

In the Democrats minds Biden is either doing an historically great job or is a doddering old fool and probably a criminal to boot. Which they settle on will depend entirely on the polls and how likely it appears he can win reelection. Nothing else.
