Odds of another NC with Trevor as QB. Me say 70-30% it will happen with Trevor, without any serious injuries!!!

and by the end of his career at Clemson the media will point out how inaccurate he is and some 1 year starter from an average team will be the better QB.

and genetically engineer a smart, deadly accurate QB....Trevor Lawrence is what you'd end up with. Reading the field, short, intermediate and bombs he's accurate. His accuracy while extending plays and throwing on the run is off the charts.

This kid is a freak!! His film is just insane, makes the dline run in circles and with a flick of the wrist the balls 30 yards down field. Not only does he have a cannon he has awesome touch as well. Another plus is he can throw the ball just as good on the run man this guy is going to be great. Already runs similar offense as well. TL you are the man wish you were on campus now TBH even tho think we will be fine but can't wait til you sign on the line and become a tiger!!!!

I know this is going to be frowned on over here... but he drops the ball on his wind up. He brings it out to his side on his wind up instead of up high. I think it should be easily fixed working with mechanics.
Dudes got an arm though... and accurate... and quick. He will be a star for sure... I just think he needs to fix his wind up mechanics.

Dont try and play scout over the weekend I dont recommend it. When the ball is that accurate you dont change mechanics unless its a slow release which it isn't. His mechanics are just fine TL has had more QB coaches and trainers then a lot of these prospects. I've watched TL in person many times the guy can sling it. This past weekend at the 7 on 7 tournament he had a throw from the far hash mark to the other side of the field on a quick 7 yard comeback route, absolute beauty of a ball. You dont see that kind of arm strength and accuracy in division 1 much less HS. Ill try and post the video from the 7 on 7 when I get time.

Ok. Dont try and guess people's football knowledge I dont recommend it. I do recommend using commas so you dont have sentences like the previous one. A low wind up is problematic. I do not feel like going into the intricacies of the issues this usually causes. I am sure the coaches will work on his mechanics when he gets on campus. They may find that it messes his rhythm up and as bad of mechanics as they may be, Lawrence will just have to live with it.

As good as DW was we may be soon trying to remember who he was. TL will break all or most of his records if he stays healthy. Recommended viewing is last year's high school championship game.

First names that comes to mind as far as who he compares to are Andrew Luck or Elway. Big Qbs who could move outside the pocket and deliver the football. T Lawrence surrounded by five star talent is gonna be fun to watch when he arrives on campus.

Great post. Lawrence steady feeding receivers, eluding pressure and steps up in the pocket and delivers fast balls. Noticed some of those across his body fading right, throwing left. Kid is gonna be special and deliver many wins!
Now what's this about this Joyner kid? Good athlete, good QB. Muschamp got lucky with a Spurrier commit. Still no Lawrence, in many facets of his game and physical tools. Honestly I haven't seen film like that on a kid in high school since DW4. Lawrence with a lot less running, none the less , eluding pressure and great decision making on those precision throws.

For the 6'6" frame that Trevor has, I would love to see him come in as 6'6" 220-230 lbs with more muscle. With his skills, he would be a QB terror in college when he gets past the first line of defense. He would be very difficult to put on the ground if defenders can't wrap up around his legs!!!

He's bigger than Whitehurst. I think he's like 6'6" already and he's more athletic...Charlie was not a statue in the pocket but he can't run like Lawrence can.
As for beating out the guys ahead of him...dunno. We got some dudes right now. Whoever makes it outta that 4-way cluster (which will be 5-way once Chase Brice gets on campus) is gonna be a serious Dude.
It'll be fascinating.

I think one thing that's staggering is that since he's 6'6" and has a quick, picture-perfect release, he often times makes 50 yard throws on a rope and they look completely effortless. Heck, I rewound the video multiple times because I was watching and realized "oh wait, I think he just threw that 55 yards". Amazing. I can't wait to see him continue to progress.

Think about what he could do with 20-25 more pounds of muscle weight, and 20-25 more pounds of muscle isn't that much when considering his big boned 6'6" frame!!! He would gain speed, arm strength, and overall body weight and strength that will allow him to run through people. A better Cam Newton @ 235 pounds.
