Why did Hartman transfer?

1

I honestly don't get it. Had to learn a whole new system. Transferred to a run-heavy traditional offense. Draft stock was soaring.

Regardless of outcome of this game, seems he's trending down in a major way.

The money might have been better in South Bend.

It’s CAPITALISM after all.

As another T’Netter said, “you don’t have a problem with capitalism, do you?”

I would think he wanted out of that slow mesh system.

He is a pretty stinking good QB imo.

Not the mesh that wake ran.

We’d most likely be 4-0 with him as our QB. I love CK2 and he is gonna be a baller, but Hartman is a 6th year and knows football. Think ND was one of the only places that was willing to spend a year on him.

You turned the game off too early. 93 yard drive, enough said. Hartman is just a winner.

After he transferred there was a report that broke that basically said he felt like he could make more money in NIL deals at a prestigious school than he could as an undrafted rookie in the NFL. Apparently he got enough feedback that he wouldn't get drafted that he didn't declare.

Hard to believe he would not have been drafted. I can name half a dozen NFL starters that are far worse QBs.

Wanted the exposure of playing in a big market. If he had a big season he’d have a better shot of being drafted. Nothing to lose for him.

and became a Heisman favorite when he stepped on the Notre Dame field. Add big time NIL $$, better OL, better TE, better RB's, better WR's, better defense and better NFL prospects. Plus a chance to win big.

Say what you want, but it's Notre Freaking Dame! Only the most historic football program in the world! We can dislike them, I certainly do, but it's not like he left USC or Michigan..He left WAKE and a lot of 2* players that got coached up for a team filled with 4 and 5* players and a fat NIL deal. But otherwise, no clue why he'd leave.
