A little under the proverbial radar, but mark it down- he's going to be a good football player for Clemson.

2 star recruit. 255 pounds. Hasn't been very heavily recruited by big schools. Put on some weight and show us you're the diamond that Dabo finds every now and then!

Alot of these 300 lbs+ high school lineman are in reality just fat kids

At 17 250 pounds is much healthier than 320 and is better weight, not just alot of fat. He'll put on good weight when hits the weights here.

If he can gain 50 pounds of muscle he will be good. Has great length play with a mean streak just not that strong year also moves really well.

3? kid , needs to add muscle to his frame. Redshirted , second year into the 2 deep . He will be a smart , athletic tackle for Clemson . He plays mean . I like that .

My biggest concern is him adding weight

That's not an easy task with our S/C program. That hasn't been a strength of Batson over the years. Probably gonna take at least 3 years before he can really compete.

If Dabo was excited, I'm excited to have you a man of character on an All-Inn, best as our standard and I believe you will give us both of those things and be a great OL here. Thank you for choosing Clemson and we are glad to have you a board.
Go tigers! Go depth on our Ol with a mean streak!

Why are people worried about his weight?
Jun 20, 2015, 8:16 AM
|
|
He is still has a whole year in HS, a redshirt year in college, and then 4 years to play. He is already 255 lbs. He will be 300 by the time he is a redshirt frosh. I am more worried about his strength, flexibility, athletic ability, and technique. I am not a bit worried about him putting on weight.

I'm more worried about overly fat guys.

If he's 6' 6" he will fill out to 300lbs of good weight no problem.
The main thing I worry about with Olinemen are their feet.
