I do too, but do you guys remember when they joined the ACC and ran it for years? We endured some tough losses to them. The win in 2003 was oh so sweet and since then, we’ve found more wins over the Noles. And, now they’ve had some rough times.
Do I care tomorrow night? No. In the 4th quarter, I want to see our 4th stringers on the field and the shirtless guy with the book. We need to even the series before we can pull ahead!

I’ve sat in the stadium with their fans in years we were just hoping to score a touchdown. Sometimes with recently arrested players playing in the game for them. They never let up or tried not to score more. I will never feel sorry for Florida state. The misery they have to endure is well deserved. And I hope it’s endless.

This is a road game so the 4th stringers do not travel with the team, therefore it will be our 3rd stringers hopefully scoring at will. And so 100% agree with your post. GO TIGERS!!!!!!

Hoping your conference rival does well and feeling bad for them when that rival is in bad shape strikes me as weird.
I loved FSU's Taggert years. I enjoyed seeing the Noles left out of the playoff last year.

This is a RIVALRY game, and Clemson is playing a wounded and cornered opponent.
The Noles will be fighting and playing for some modicum of self respect and pride at home beating the Tigers.
IF I am wrong on this, then I will gladly eat crow for the rest of the month.
I don’t feel sorry for FSU, because I will NEVER get that image of the Puntrooskie play out of my head for the rest of my life.
If I had been on the sidelines during that play, I would have run out there and tackled that player myself…PERIOD.
Clemson better take this game SERIOUSLY and be FOCUSED on winning, else they will take an embarrassing loss and listen to Finebaum say “I told you so” for the rest of the season.

That and all the embarrassing, RUTS beatdowns they served up throughout the 90's and early 2000's. Clemson can NEVER get enough payback on them, ESPECIALLY in Tallahassee.

Why would I feel bad for Florida State? I endured years of them stomping us into the grass under Hatfield, West and a couple times under Bowden. They can lose every game for all I care. The only team I despise more is South Carolina.

Still a lot of talent on that team. Not a good idea to be putting 3rd stringers in too early. After this past week don't have the heart to watch one of those comeback and hold your breath at the end. I remember the DJU game a few years back down there where it got too close for comfort towards the end.

November 4, 2000. Doak Campbell Stadium. Final score 54-7. Bobby never called off the dogs, and made some pretty insulting remarks about Clemson post game as I listened to his radio interview on the Tallahassee station riding back to the hotel. He was extremely arrogant about it all. He said Clemson just wasn’t in their league. Times change, my late friend.
My 12-year-old nephew and I sat amongst a sea of FSU fans who hounded us all game, taunting us, cursing at us. Except for one kind man who sat right behind us. He was very nice and genuinely sympathetic, apologizing for his fellow hiney holes. (Could have been bretfsu in retrospect.)
After what we endured that night, ain’t nobody feeling sorry for them around my house. If we beat them 100-0, it won’t be good enough in my book.
