What are the odds Garrett leaves for a HC job after this season?

ECU is likely already calling. The trend isn't good for the offense and the future players from recruiting don't seem to move the needle.
Does Garrett take a HC job while he can or does he stick around?

Man we can only hope he does along with Dabo retiring IF he doesn’t want to pay players. I don’t care about the portal it’s overrated…..also need Venables back IF Dabo wants to keep coaching…. Otherwise compete coaching overhaul

Right? Give Dabo control over NIL and the portal for all sports? No thanks. Dabo’s a typewriter in the computer age. He did great, but today’s environment doesn’t match his skill set. He could be great again, but he doesn’t want to adapt.

Absolutely terrible take. Put the guy who's toxic to recruits and refuses to deal with NIL and the portal over all athletic programs, when that's now a big part of the job description. Then, to replace him on the football team, hire the guy who's about to be fired from Oklahoma because he's incapable of being a head coach.

I don't know. If we fall on our face the rest of the season it may be his only option. If we finish strong he will probably get better opportunities. But I'm not sure it is that attractive to stay here unless Dabo makes several changes. Other than his high salary. I guess that may keep him around.

Wrist a sec, folks here are wanting him gone because he hasn't lived up to our expectations but some think a HC job may be in the works?

the whole run 8 plays but out of different formations philosophy isnt working. also cade hasnt progressed one bit against a team with a pulse.

I don’t blame GR for any of this. I think our ceiling moving forward under Dabo is 9-3 each year now. Game planning starts with him and you will just be cycling coaches every 2 years if you blame everyone else. We are driving a 2008 Honda Civic when everyone else is driving a new Corvette.
