it's possible that both our coordinators were offered HCing jobs they couldn't refuse and they are holding off making the announcement until Dabo finds replacement for them.
Wonder why he promotes from within sometimes? Do the friggin' math!

I think it's entirely possible Riley could be offered a head coach position. He is a very well-established coach who was considered the best OC 2 seasons ago, and now has taken Clemson from a bottom 30 offense to a top 20 one. I'd be shocked if he weren't considered by some programs. Now, whether he gets an offer worth taking, that's another question (most elite programs choose proven head coaches, and when they don't, it often ends up being like Venables).
Riley will leave, it is a matter of time, though I am skeptical he's leaving now, especially since Cade is coming back. They'd never announce he's leaving in a week or two as the players would feel betrayed, and Cade could still announce and the receivers could transfer.
But who the hell would hire Goodwin as head coach? The dude has 0 experience in coaching prior to Dabo inexplicably promoting him. The guy has not proven a very good recruiter. He has no results. He took one of the most famous defensive teams and made them absolutely horrible. And the calls for his head have been VERY public. Schools and boosters want to feel like they're getting a winner, not someone who everyone wants to fire. And he is a very timid, meek person, so not exactly the kind of magnetic personality to fire up players and boosters to donate to NIL. I can't imagine any decent program even considering offering him. Keep in mind, Jeff Scott and Elliott got pretty low-end HC gigs, and they were far more qualified. I couldn't even see FCS programs hiring Goodwin.
That said, it wouldn't shock me if Dabo is letting Goodwin find a new job so he could take that one and not be fired. Venables always liked Goodwin in the booth. Venables is extremely desperate now, so his hiring Goodwin in some sort of saving-face role where he could put him back in the booth wouldn't surprise me at all.

If anybody gets fired on Dabo's staff I would almost bet the farm that the coach that will be looking for a job will be Wes Goodwin, and if not that would mean that he has screwed up again!!!

No MR. AD. I need to wait - but just as soon as Dabo decides I can begin rebuilding your program. Really?
