These 4 players are ballers & will play NFL one day soon

Conversely, the Clemson coaching staff is a complete wreck. Coaches do not play our best players. They put the players in poor schemes with poor play calling on both sides of the ball. By the 4th Qtr, the team quit on the coaches.

While Carter gives credit to ND, he doesn’t seem to grasp…

…the URGENCY of the situation.
There is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING that can happen that will get the Tigers into the CFP!
Carter doesn’t get that losing to THAT Notre Dame team was the nail in the coffin for the CFP.
That abysmal ND passing attack, that ND QB, but, the ND RUNNING game that sunk the Tigers hopes is what Carter should be allowing to hit home with him.
I get the “moving on” cr@p. Sure, you have to move on, but these players need to have some serious self-introspection about what in the h311 they are out on that field for, and NO, it is not for having a historic road trip to enjoy some football at a famed football stadium.
Yes, this is a game, but for a program like Clemson, this is a SERIOUS endeavor, playing that the very highest levels of competition in the hardest team sport in the world.
Dabo appeared to be a BROKEN MAN during his post-game presser, and I mean BROKEN.
Every player on the team needs to feel the same way as to their performance…BROKEN, and let me hear it with my own ears that you’re BROKEN and that this is NOT going to happen again, that they COMPLETELY lost their focus and execution and allowed an INFERIOR (yeah, that’s right, I said it, INFERIOR) team slap them around like a group of limp noodles.
That was the type of performance that IF you didn’t have the enormous investment of 100s of millions of dollars on the line, you’d have to sit down and ask, ”…is this really a sport that we should be involved in?”
Lord…I hate getting on these diatribes.

I wholeheartedly agree. There's no emotion on the team. Show me pain, anger, or something. They are all like "yeah, we loss; but we'll get better." I want to see something like Tebow's 2008 Promise Speech after the loss to Ole Miss.

Fire Venable Oklahoma. Clemson hire Venable and Scott - back to the promise land.

This program no longer has dogs.
We need to recruit some mean players again.

I’ve said for weeks. Lack of drive and lack of toughness. That’s on the coaches. They’ve lost most of this team.

Been saying that all year. Zero dogs on this team. I remember Shaq Lawson going on the OK team bus pregame and telling them they were gonna get a beating. Then he delivered the beating. Kearse, Boulware, Wilkins, MacLaine, etc. Dogs.

Don’t know what is going on with LBs

Carter played out of his mind the first 4-5 games and his last 2 have been woeful. Poor tackling and angles, lack of physicality. Not sure if he’s trying to play through a severe injury or what. Simpson has been pretty invisible as well. When all 3 units of D are underachieving, you get Saturday’s result
