True story. The plant I managed in Miami was a unique building. One morning one of my guys told me there were about 10 people out front taking pictures. Being Miami, this was far from the most unusual thing that had happened. I went out and talked to them and it was a film crew scouting locations for the Bad Boys II movie. Guess the director liked the building and told the crew he wanted to include it. They got permission from our corporate office and our building was used as the Palms Mortuary in the movie. One afternoon they filmed the cops, including Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, storming the Mortuary. They closed the road in front of the building and they were there all afternoon. They must have filmed it 15-20 times. We were allowed to be outside watching and got to meet Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Smith was actually very nice and personable and Lawrence acted like a typical celebrity. That night they filmed the scene where the ambulance drove through the false entrance they had added to the front of the building. The pictures show the front of the building before the ambulance crash scene. The single story front area was the addition they made with foam blocks and ran the ambulance through them. There was always something crazy going on in Miami.

I used to live in Wilmington, NC and talked to some folks who worked at the film studio there. One guy said he had worked there for many years and the absolute worst person he ever worked with was Martin Lawrence. Black Night was filmed there. He said even before ML came on set, one of his assistants handed out a 2-page list to all of the crew of things they could and could not do in ML's presence. Nobody was allowed to speak to him except the director and other actors.
On the flip side he said John Travolta was the nicest actor to ever work there. Travolta even worked out at a local gym and stayed until anyone who wanted an autograph got one.

Autograph?....yeah right. Travolta was hoping to give more than an autograph in " the gym" of all places.
