He is a horrible game/clock/situation management coach. Has been since day 1.
At the end of the first half, why not call a timeout at midfield with 3 seconds left and throw a Hail Mary to the end zone. What other coach just takes it to halftime getting beat 17-7 with opponent getting the ball to start second half.
No 2-pt conversions down 13???
Running every 3rd/4th and short just to pickup the first down. Even though everyone knows it’s coming. Can’t afford to waste the time. Throw it and go down swinging!
So frustrated.

That’s so stupid. I get angry watching games like the one I saw last night. You won’t be calling anyone a “coot” when we lose to them- but I guess I’m not a real fan for being unhappy with the team’s performance. Yay- we got more 1st downs!! We graduated more players!!!

That’s not true. I’m nowhere near 65. History lesson for you, the Lamecucks have been known as Coots forever. Just because some snot nosed Gen Z know nothings deem it so. You change the paradigm by changing hearts and minds. You can’t just say it. Like making Boomer a derogatory term. Gen Z couldn’t tote a Boomer’s bath water. Boomer’s and Gen X invented everything you know and love. Those generations rolled heir sleeves up and got things done. Rather than sit on a couch and live vicariously through others watching YouTube videos all day. Contribute something to society then come back with that crap.

The national view of Dabo is that he’s not a good coach. He got lucky with two 1st round QBs and WRs, and a stud RB. Some even say he ONLY won two with all those guys while playing in the ACC. He could just out-talent all the other ACC schools and coast into the final four, where his opponents had been through major battles. Clemson came into the final four almost completely healthy vs their opponents injury list.
I’ve seen a little bit of this with UGAs Vince Dooley. After the Herschel years, we were just an above average team until he retired in 1988. He was at UGA a long time and probably lost interest in those final years. Very similar to Dabo.

Like did you take a national GALLUP poll, or maybe randomly called a statically significant number of diverse CFB fans to get their vote?
Its YOUR view colored by the SEC echo chamber you live in and are trying to make seem more important by claiming its a "national view?
The "cake walk" to the NC theory has been debunked.

I’m not sure but fairly certain that I have never heard this mentioned. The national media is obsessed with him.
Now I’m sure in Athens that’s the word around town. Lots of teams have had great QB’s. Beat some #### good teams in those days, the SEC and B1G’s best a couple of times but spin it however you want to.

Clemson would have beaten Georgia if Dabo had left Watson in the game. Instead he stayed with Stout and Clemson got hammered.

That is HIGHlarious. DW couldn't tackle Chubb, Michel, or Gurley. Our D was lights out after the mid 2nd quarter. It didn't matter if you had Tom Brady.

To make six playoffs, 4 national championship games and win 2 of them... Do you have any take on why we don't see more of this in college football? Maybe maybe going back over the past 40-50 years.
Is it fair to say Tom Osborne got lucky, Pete Carroll? Was he lucky?...
Also, when you have time, could you give us that quick rundown comparison on the injuries between Clemson and their opponents during the title runs.
In news, flash on the great quarterbacks, a lot of coaches are in a lot of Hall of fames because they had great players playing in the game. That's kind of how it works. Nick Saban and Kirby smarter dang good coaches but they ain't playing with Vandy's roster.
You can make an argument those guys only won because of the players they had and not the coach themselves.

ACC-SEC Head to Head matchups 2015 4-6 2016 10-4 2017 5-6 2018 4-6 23-22 2019 4-8 27-30 2020 0-3 27-33
So during our 6 playoff years the ACC managed a 27-33 record against the SEC, a 45% win record not a huge difference.
During our 4 year Championship appearance streak ACC was ahead 23-22 in wins. Kind shoots a hole in your naritive.

Riley’s O and Goodwin’s lack of adjustments were mind boggling. Dabo did take the blame because that is what good coaches do, but I am sure he was not happy with either one of those guys watching film Sunday morning. Most definitely some ### chewing going on for sure.
