and Dabo can't fix it?
We've lost 4 of our last 5 games against Power 5 teams. We blew the USuC game. Couldnt make a kick against Tennessee with our most reliable FG kicker in recent history. Duke we couldn't hold onto the ball.
Today, our players had crazy energy, but we COACHED not to lose. Wes was scared to challenge Travis at the end of the 1H and went 3-down, basically spotting them 7pts. We ran Cade several times the last drive of regulation rather than throw and go for the TD. Really looked like we were content killing the clock and kicking a FG.
We are inventing ways to lose games now. If its not poor play then its poor coaching. Duke was poor play in GL situations. Today was absolutely coaching.
But not being aggressive in the last several minutes of each half really shows me that we are cautious about making mistakes and not confident in what we can do. Losing games in the weirdest ways like we do seems to be getting into the heads of the players, and today it was evident that its in the minds of the coaches too.
