I would have accepted we shouldn’t be in if the committee said all the ACC deserved was 3 teams but to have both Pitt and NC State in and us out is a complete joke!

Yep. Apparently one of the biggest factors in judging how a team will perform against quad 1 teams is losses to quad 3 and 4 teams.

Record against quad 1 teams is apparently near the bottom of the list.

It doesn’t matter who you beat at all. That’s irrelevant. Means nothing. Just do not lose to crappy teams and hope you have really good teams on your schedule too.

What was our record against teams with less than 5 wins for the season - 0-2. This is why we weren’t invited.

We beat Duke!!!!!!! We beat Pitt! We beat Penn State! We beat NC State 3 times!!!! I feel bad for the players and coaches. Fire a Coach who won 23 games at Clemson and see who in the world would want our job after 23 wins wasn’t good enough to get in the joke of an NCAA tournament. Kansas gets a 1 seed after getting blown out by Texas. Clemson players and Coaches deserve to decide if they want to play in NIT, if it were up to me I would decline as boycott to the joke that the NCAA is.
