there is a lot of real country out there. Jamey Johnson, Cody Jinks, Sunny Sweeney, and many more in that vein of real country songs.

Not sure how this post got TDed. Dude is legit and unreal vocally as well as on the guitar. I'm not a fan of new country at all but listen to CS.

Like most folks I like it all, as long as it's good, Ethic/Folk from around the world, Blues, Big Band, Classical, Old Time Fiddle & Banjo, R&B, Rock, some of the EARLY Rap. The only genres I can think of that I don't like is Techno & Emo.

I'm pretty much old school country myself. There are a few songs from the newer generation I like but they are few and far between.

Country music nowadays is fake twanged out bro rap with knock off rock riffs. It’s the absolute worst.

like jr's duet with hank-tear in my beer.quintessential old time country.knew nothing about country music when i first got to CU,but left with a great appreciation for it.have very eclectic musical tastes.can listen to country to cajun to classical and everything in between.just enjoy music.i can use it like others use alcohol and drugs.no matter the genre,as long as it's something that i like.

I guess it's a little bit new fangled but my favorite is Dwight Yoakam, "I Sang Dixie" . Wish I knew how to put in a link.

Awe.. thank you. Never get tired of hearing this. I'm pretty nostalgic about the South.

I agree with you. I like all genres of music. I really like Morgan Wallen's music. Luke Combs is great also. Doin this song by Luke Combs was a revealing song and made me appreciate him more.
