He has been a good coach at FSU, and some say he has been great at FSU, but I'll stick with good with great players, and that will win more games than the other way around. A great coach with average players won't win many conference titles or championships.

The burning question is how much longer will the Crim-a-Nole faithful put up with Jimbo Fishy and his over recruiting...underperforming teams? Maybe they need Less Miles or Tommy Bowden's phone number?

I could be wrong, but didn't that Jimbo win a National championship just a couple of years ago. And didn't his team the next season kinda resemble what we have played like this season. I just hope that our coaches don't make the same mistakes toward the end, and allow ours to fall off the wagon and get beat up before they can get back on.... Go Tigers, and go Clemson coaching staff. Real it all back in and start a new season from here to the end of our season equaling to 15 wins!!!!

and got to the playoffs the next year. It's more of a when is Jimbo going to jump ship to another school than it is when is FSU going to fire him. If FSU did fire him they deserve what they receive. That would be worse than Georgia firing Mark Richt and we all know how that's working out for them.

He has a National Championship and over 80% win record. That's not easy to accomplish.

I concur... Jimbo might get on your nerves but he respects the Tigers! He has seen the wars between these 2 teams and when he speaks about us I listen. So far this year we have played better on the road then at home(i.e. Auburn, GT, and BC). I feel this is not a coincidence... these Tigers play better without the anxiety of the home crowd. Let's be honest, we are a better road team then home team. Think about that when we play in the ACC Championship, Playoff game, and Championship Game (all neutral site games). Just saying, these Tigers might be better suited for a run that just slipped through our fingers in 2015! Go Tigers, ALL IN, and BEST IS THE STANDARD!!!

Thing is, this game in itself doesn't matter.

We could lose it and still get in playoff.
Lose any margin for error, but this game really "doesn't matter".

I love my Clemson Tigers but if they lose YOU KNOW it

is going to be hard to be in the playoffs. Admit it. HARD. Because you and I do not decide. The playoff committee decides and if there are lots of still undefeated teams or 1 loss teams like Ohio State, Clemson and Louisville hanging around we will be in a stiff competition for a slot.
But you know what? Win the whole enchilada of the ACC with no loses and we are in. Simple. Clean.
Period.
GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes but Ohio State lost to unranked Penn ST. If we lost to FSU then it shouldn't be as big a hit. But then again, weak conference Big 10 Ohio State is the media darling so... Personally I don't believe OH St will get past Michigan.

One thing you CAN say FOR Jimbo Fisher
Oct 26, 2016, 2:43 PM
|

Unlike ND last year and Louisville this year - whining about their loss(es) - last year when Jimbo met Dabo at midfield after we beat the 'noles in DV he told Dabo:
"Now go win it all!"
Class guy I can respect as an opposing team's coach.

I like him too. He's never doubted us and he speaks the truth, whether it is aggravating to read or not. He's a smart guy and calls it like he sees it.

The second paragragh ...where he is talking about how they might get into the playoffs and how college football is crazy right now .... that was actually very telling . He knows they can't get in , but he shucked and jived his way through where at one point it sounded like he may have been stuttering .

Does anyone else have a hard time reading the "quotes" from Jimbo? His speech patterns and sentence formations are...different.

A thought, a sentence. There's so much going on in that head; he's going a mile a second. It must be tough trying to listen to his coaching. He has a few good points, but good grief, he never finished a one of 'em. He's as A.D.D. as I am
