Spud, I suggested that one because it almost happened to me in an Atlanta hotel bar. One of my co-workers from New Orleans claimed that LSU was the real Death Valley. I didn't know I could go ballistic as fast as I did. When I explained to him about the rock and told him that I had personally seen it in Frank Howard's office being used as a door stop in the '60s and furthermore we didn't first call it that - it was the Newberry coach that gave it the name. I also explained that LSU stadium was originally "Deaf Valley" and we could beat them on that count as well.
He chose to argue a bit, so I pulled up the stories on the internet and said "Read this!" The belief had been so strong in him, he didn't know what to say - but he said he guessed he was mistaken and didn't have much to say the rest of the evening.
Its a good thing he backed down, because it might have gotten ugly - so I know that statement would start a fight in a Clemson bar - particularly if claimed by an LSU fan....

Respectfully, this is the most acceptable comment in the thread.
Switch mediocre to is synonym of average and its an accurate statement with out any fandom in it.
The skill position players on the team 2011-2013 were absolutely unreal.
As many examples of Tajh leading us to victory there are as many that were his blunders. They cancel each other out to leave him at average.
