What some people don't realize...

This whole "I don't care if the ACC is getting stronger or South Carolina is getting better in any sport...we need to just get better than them" shows a complete disregard for how we look under the national spotlight. These people would be totally content if we were the 119th best football team if South Carolina was 120th. When I refer to the ACC and South Carolina getting better I'm talking specifically about baseball, where the fact of the matter is that South Carolina almost threepeated. We have ONE national championship in our best sport (football). If we could just "get better" we would. The way of doing this is not necessarily firing the coach either. Not every coach is capable of producing a national championship and who's to say the new coach you hire will be any better? If winning a national championship was easy then more coaches would do it.
