coots are strange birds. I can’t think of any other fan base that routinely roots for the schools that beat them down year after year. As such, the coot/bulldogs/vols/gator/tigers/tigers/crimson tide/rebs/commodores/razorbacks/bulldogs/aggies/longhorns/tigers/sooners/wildcats rarely stop flapping their beaks. coots are fiercely loyal…..to the schools that have been punking them for decades.

JSU's run in the tournament, however, came to an end in the championship game, where they lost to Western Kentucky (WKU) 6-5 in 11 innings.
