Football Giants)? I sure hope that smell from Giants Stadium doesn't waft all the way down the east coast, because they REALLY stunk up the joint last night. They made the Seattle Seahawks look like contendas.
Everyone just assumed the New York Jets would have the worst season of any New York team after Aaron Rodgers being gone after only five plays, and Zach Wilson playing like hot garbage. If Lee Corso did NFL predictions, he might be saying "NOT SO FAST, MY FRIEND!" at this point. Yeesh.

Daniel Jones is lucky to get out of there unhurt. Our line puts on a clinic every week compared to what the Giants have. And for the money they spent the GM only has himself to blame. My God they were awful

fragile as Jane. Their defense is bad. They have no real weapons other than the guy who's hurt all the time. Their QB is a game manager who's not gonna lose many games but isn't gonna be a difference maker, either.
They are a boring team with a boring roster and a boring coaching staff.

Conversely, Daniel Jones has little support among other Giants and is not respected as a team leader, and yet he makes all the money on the Giants. Also, NY Giants had one of the easiest NFL schedules in 2022. Not so in 2023. A poorly operated franchise especially with personnel.

Daniel Jones is terrible. They messed up extending him

Some of those sacks last night were because Jones didn't get rid of the ball. He needs to stop trying to be Ben Roethlisberger II and play like a real NFL QB should: Make all your reads within 2.5-3.0 seconds and get rid of the ball. Sure enough the Seahawks dominated the Giants O-line but not to the point of 11 sacks. Daniel Jones should be better than that by now. This is his 5th year!
The pick-6 was one of the dumbest throws I've seen in a long time. He looked like a rookie in a pre-season game. A 14-10 game became 21-3 instead. I don't blame Brian Daboll for tossing his clipboard in Jones' face out of disgust.
Someone explain to me why you give a guy 4yrs/$160 million when he only threw 15 TDs last season. The Giants are dead for at least two more seasons.
