This team's roster has an embarrassment of riches and some of the best coaches that money can buy. Why can't they seem to get it together.

The roster is not as rich as you think
We are not recruiting the high school ranks at an elite level. If you aren’t going to use the portal to fill the unavoidable holes even better be elite at high school recruiting.

Do we have great players? Just because you return a bunch of starters means nothing. We lost a great LB to the draft and it shows. This could really be a 3-8 disaster. Unthinkable.

The game has changed - rapidly - and Clemson has not. Saban saw this coming and was true to his principles like Dabo. Saban was smart enough to retire to Game Day. Dabo thought he could show the world how it should be done. And I agree with his approach and the student athlete. That approach doesn’t win in the modern era however

*Team gets to many stupid penalties.
*Cade can't process fast enough to get through his reads.
* No D coordinator can hold a candle to Venables. Allen can't disguise his blitzes anywhere close.
* D line can't hold their ground at the point of attack.
* We are constantly getting out coached. Teams with lesser talent just crushing us. That's coaching.
* We come out flat every game and play from behind.
* We can't get off the field on 3rd down.
* We are losing the turnover margin.
* Due to weather at first and now subpar play our homefield advantage is almost nonexistent.
* We haven't figured out the portal. No 3 guys don't count.
* We take bad angles on outside runs.
What did I leave out? I am and always will be a diehard Tiger fan, but this is tough. Remember when
If I survived Ken Hatefield I'll get through this.
