It's like having a bad stick that is going down. Cut your losses and get rid of it. How you as a coach can sit and watch a pitcher who has nothing from the first pitch is beyond me.

Because all but 3 of their roster is from Georgia and they want to beat us, Georgia and Georgia Tech more than all the other teams on their schedule combined. Records mean nothing is sports.

Want the truth? Our pitching isn't very good and much is a roll over from last season...aside from Cam and Taylor, the rest of our bats are either not very good or unproven. I've been saying since last year that Amick leaving was a huge hit. Guys like Wright, Creighton, and Jarrell are average to below average hitters.

I think we will win the series for sure...But when we face better arms and teams with more depth in the bullpen like NC St, Wake, UNC, or VA it's going to get ugly. The USC series next week is going to be ugly...This is a transition year for Bakich from Monte's guys leaving to his own guys now. Just going to be a long year is all.

so whose saying Omaha? Xavier isn’t a bad team. It’s baseball and teams come out flat. It isn’t an excuse it’s just what it is. One game that is happening in February. Bakich and staff are smart and we have some dudes. We will get it figured out. Are you saying Monte’s guys were better and he should have stayed a coach?
