What happens when new schools finally get a full share?

I would expect Clemson to be gone by then. However, I am curious as to whether or not the presidents at these elite institutions can do grade school math.

Unless I am missing something, the extra money from SMU taking no share for 7 years and Cal & Stanford taking partial shares for a period of time is only temporary.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but once the new schools get their full share there will be no extra money to dole out to the "Original" schools.

I hope this whole thing falls apart as we do not need any California schools in ACC, meaning ATLANTIC COAST Conference. Totally nutty idea floating out there. SMU is a choice better for travel, a little.

Hopefully the new schools will be good in 7 yrs

(or whenever the "temporary" time is up).

By that point

the dust will have already settled and the 48-54 professional teams making up the new Saturday league, whatever they may call it, will have already been established.

The benefits of adding a couple of 4-7 teams from the left coast.

Prediction: Should the ACC add Stanford, Cal, and SMU, both Clemson and Florida State will join the SEC very quickly! Would be the wrong move for the ACC!
