There is plenty of good football played in Big 10 country, with plenty of passionate fans to boot.
The South doesn’t have exclusivity to good football or good fans.
Plus, Clemson’s student body, alumni base, and fan base is pretty heterogeneous these days. We have a lot more in common with “Northern schools” than you might think.

What in the heck do we have in common with the yankees and that conference. Not understanding wanting to play Minnesota, Northwestern, Maryland and Illinois. Michigan, OSU AND Penn State would be great games but I think there would be more less interesting games. Let’s play Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. We could actually drive to those games with ease. Only bad games I see would be Vandy and SC. Our games with Kentucky have always been competitive as well.
