What more can a guy ask for in this wild & caustic political environment?

Yea..a grand slam home run (that’s 4 runs for you not into baseball!).

Ha..Go Trump & Go AMERICA!

I get that the democrats hate Trump and disagree on policies. But there were things last night that every American can celebrate. It seems to me the smart thing from a political position would be to at least cheer for a man just released from a Russian prison, a 13 year old cancer patient, etc. It just made no sense from a human perspective.

Was this the first Presidential speech before Congress?

Just last year Republicans refused to stand and clap for increased preschool access for children.

You really think that’s a moral equivalent to what you saw last night? You’re talking about policy disagreement.

Wait. You think fewer kids should have access to preschool?

I think it’s more of a policy /funding dispute. But my personal opinion is we do not need preschool.

don't find it enjoyable Trump would make a performative act to highlight one kid while you guys want to harm thousands of kids...

Especially when Trump has cut funding for medical research.

I thought we were talking preschool? Now it’s medical research? Geez you’re making me dizzy. By the way, if we eliminated preschool all together it’s not hurting kids. Do 3 and 4 year olds really need to go to “school” ? I don’t think so.

I’ll have my wife, the pre-school special ed teacher, give you a call…I’ll give you 3 minutes before you cry uncle. We are in a pretty affluent area, but even here there are 3-4 year olds that are so far behind developmentally that they would never catch up if they waited for Kindergarten.

Never catch up? If we let kids be kids and start them in grade 1 or kindergarten we would be just fine. Heck, I started 1st grade because we had no such thing as even kindergarten.

You boys like to make academic achievement as the measure of success. I don’t think that applies to everyone nor do I think preschool necessarily determines academic success. I did not go to preschool or kindergarten because we did not have those. But just for giggles I did ok by your standards. I have 3 college degrees and one is from one of the nations top universities. My point is preschool ( baby sitting) is no big deal.

It’s honestly wild to me that you could have three college degrees including one from an elite institution and still lack the critical thinking skills to see through the stunt Trump.

I guess that’s why so many people call for scams. They just want something to be true they’re easily willing to ignore the obvious red flags.
